When you have a strong green light put it back into the bracket and put the wing nut back on. If just the red source led is out unplug the mechanism check the wiring and plug it back in. If the red light is blinking it means the sensors are not aligned and need adjusting. The red light on the receiving sensor glows bright red when the sensors are aligned properly.

The green light signifies your sensors have power while the red light signifies the sensors are aligned. If you are unable to get the door closed and the safety sensors are the issue the garage door can be closed by pressing and holding the push button on the wall until down travel is completed. For people who do not know the transmitter has the yellow light and the receiving sensor has the green light. Low voltage circuits raise the garage door using the control button on the garage wall or the remote control unit from a vehicle.

One will have a green light used to show that the units are powered up and the other will have a red light to show that there s no obstruction between the sensors and that they re seeing each other.
