How to cut rain gutters.

Plug in the saw and squeeze the trigger button. If the section of the gutter you are discarding is on your left use the right hand tin snips and vice versa if the discarded section is on right. Proceed to cut down along the side of the aluminum gutter repeat the process to cut down along the other side of the aluminum gutter. Place the rain gutter downspout on the miter saw table and line up the marker line with the saw blade.

Before you cut the downspout you will want to have a line on all four sides of the vinyl gutter. Use the square to transfer the line all the way around the gutter. Grab one side of the gutter and lower the saw slowly to the gutter. Turn on the saw and carefully run it through the vinyl.

Cut along the marked line you placed on the aluminum gutter starting at the flange turning inward toward the opening of the aluminum gutter. Let go of the trigger when through and then pull the saw back up to its starting position. Use the old adage measure twice and cut once then turn the gutter upside down on the table and mark it all the way around. Use a carpenter s square to get around to the bottom.
